DJ RAM, A Different Drum & Synthpop.ru проводят конкурс ремиксов, итогом которого станет отбор путем голосования представителями выпускающего лейбла и музыкантами, вовлеченными в проект, и представление лучших работ на лимитированном бонус-диске нового альбома интернационального проекта Virtual Server "Setup", реализуемого весной 2006 года американским лейблом A Different Drum.

Также интересные работы будут поощрены памятными подарками от лейбла A Different Drum.

Бонус диск с ремиксами будет включен в лимитированное издание альбома Virtual Server “Setup”, а также будет рассылаться ди-джеям Европы и Америки в виде промо-материала к альбому.

 

 

Limit one (1) entry per person. You hereby agree not to duplicate, sell or exploit any portion of the entry or the original master recordings at any time without Virtual Server's prior specific written consent. Remixer agrees that they will not share the remix files or their remix online with any other person. Virtual Server reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Virtual Server's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest as determined by Virtual Server in its sole discretion. Virtual Server reserves the sole right to extend the deadline of the determinations of the winning entries for one extension period of thirty (30) days. By entering this contest, you expressly agree that all of the results and proceeds of the Contest entry are and shall be, from the inception of creation, a "work made for hire" for Virtual Server. You further acknowledge, certify and agree that Virtual Server shall be deemed the author and/or exclusive owner throughout the world of any and all rights in and to the entry (including, but not limited to, the right, title and interest in and to the worldwide copyrights in the "sound recording(s)" (as defined in the Copyright Act of the United States of America) and underlying composition embodied therein and any renewal or extension of rights in connection therewith), and of any and all other rights thereto.
In the event that the services rendered in connection with the entry are not deemed to be "works made for hire", then the rights therein shall be deemed irrevocably transferred to Virtual Server by virtue of this agreement. You will, upon request, execute, acknowledge and deliver to Virtual Server such additional documents as Virtual Server may deem necessary to evidence and effectuate Virtual Server's rights hereunder. If you are under the age of 18, you and your parent or legal guardian warrant and represent that you and your parent or legal guardian have both reviewed and expressly agreed with these official Contest rules. Virtual Server reserves its rights to verify eligibility qualifications of any entrant and to disqualify any entrant found, in its sole discretion, to be tampering or otherwise interfering with this Contest. Any entrant found to be misrepresenting themselves through the use of aliases and/or addresses or an entrant's submission of mass entries and/or reproductions will be disqualified. Except where prohibited by law, by participating in this Contest, you are granting Virtual Server, and those acting under its authority, permission to use your name, photograph, voice and/or likeness for advertising, publicity and/or other business purposes in connection with the Contest without compensation.

  

We will not pay for any of the remix work.  We will select our favorite remixes to appear on the bonus disc for the "Setup" album by Virtual Server and will provide the remixer with a finished copy of the 2CD.

 

 We will provide you remix kit with the link. Everyone remixer will receive a personal link.

 

SUBMISSION POLICY:
Each contestant may upload ONLY 1 remix to the Contest Upload Page. Remix must be compressed in an MP3 file at 44khz / 128-320/kb / stereo and include a text file with your name and e-mail address so we can contact you if you have won. We will not use this information for any other uses EVER.

 

JUDGING:

Eligible entries will be judged by Virtual Server’s members and A Different Drum. All eligible entries will be listened to and rated by originality and creativity, technique, sonic quality and viability in the dance market.

DEADLINE:
Contest Submission deadline is April 10th 2006. Winners will be announced 1 week later on the DJ RAM homepage.
