On the 1st of December, the head of Recoil project, Alan Wilder (ex Depeche Mode), visited Moscow, Russia.
Alan Wilder made a special appearance and album presentation for the Russian release of the "subHuman" album by Recoil. There was a live appearance from the Russian band The Limelight and music courtesy of DJ O.K., DJ Z@lex and DJ Zaler. VJ AntiShanti provided video projection and exclusive prizes were given away courtesy of Gala Records.

Synthphony Records is proud to present the release of a brand new !distain album. Germany's famous electro-pop-band has finished all songs for the fifth studio-recording in the history of the band.
"Raise The Level" contains eleven brand new tracks by Alexander Braun and Manfred Thomaser. Up to this the album contains a cover-version of "West End Girls" (Pet Shop Boys). "Raise The Level" has been produced by DJ Ram, Ingo Nordloh and !distain. |

American label A Different Drum started pre-orders for a new album “Setup” by the international project Virtual Server, which is still navigated by DJ RAM. After an impressive collection of collaborative songs on the first album, "Installed", producer DJ Ram is back with a new Virtual Server collection, featuring songs recorded over a period of three years. The assembly of guest vocalists is even more impressive this time around, and the exciting songs are perfect for fans of synthpop and electronic dance music fans around the world. This album will be available in two format – regular and limited to 500 copies only editions. Expect new Virtual Server to be setup by the end of November 2006. |

It was quite difficult to pick the most interesting and original works among them all, which would perfectly fit into the “Setup” album concept. From this list the jury will pick remixes to form the bonus CD for Virtual Server “Setup”. The jury consists of DJ RAM himself, Virtual Server “Setup” original lineup musicians, A Different Drum label reps and some DJs who will test remixes under club dancefloor circumstances. |

On march 4th in the grand hall of Moscow state university (MGU) a presentation of new remix album of the popular Russian band Mumiy Troll took place. The event was supported by the Russian bank “SOYUZNICK”. During the show the band itself and DJ RAM together presented a collaborative guitar-driven dance set while 4 compositions were instantly remixed “live”. |

French online zine YAEW compiled and put online the third part of a compilation series called "Yet Another Electro Compilation Vol.3". Among the artists presented the track for the compilation are DJ RAM with his exclusive track with American duo Iris : "Virtual Server feat. Iris - The Earth (Baby Max Mix)", that was remixed by the well-known Russian synthpop scene insider Baby Max. The original version of the song will hit the street in the early 2006 along with other tracks on the upcoming Virtual Server's full-length "Setup" (Out thru the USA-based label A Different Drum). |

outh-oriented musical TV show project named “Polosa Vezeniya” (The Line of Luck) is an analogue to the Russian “Star Factory” and “Be A Star”. In Great Britain very similar project is “Popstars”, in Germany – “Deutschlad sucht den Superstar”, in the USA “American Idol”, in Netherlands “Fame Academy”, in France “Star Academy”, in some other European countries “Pop Idol”. DJ RAM has been invited to be a project sound producer and songwriter.
