DJ RAM's project VIRTUAL SERVER second single has been released on 14th May through A Different Drum. It's titled FALLEN and features vocals by Chrissy Franklin from The Echoing Green & System 22. B-side "Love Is Only" features vocals by Charlie Wollborg from Brave New World. Powerful club remixes have been submitted by Ken Porter from Intuition, Jani Heimala from Neverwood and others.
"Virtual Server debut single Wide Awake and the new single Fallen are completely different in their moods", says A Different Drum label owner Todd Durant. "Wide Awake" is kind of a downbeat and somewhat depressing song with a darkwave flavor. "Fallen" is very uptempo, has female vocals and is along clubby trance vein. The two singles give two different sides of the Virtual Server project and the album will cover ground between both those sides, showing how diverse the "synthpop" genre can be".
