Youth-oriented musical TV show project named “Polosa Vezeniya” (The Line of Luck) is an analogue to the Russian “Star Factory” and “Be A Star”. In Great Britain very similar project is “Popstars”, in Germany – “Deutschlad sucht den Superstar”, in the USA “American Idol”, in Netherlands “Fame Academy”, in France “Star Academy”, in some other European countries “Pop Idol”. DJ RAM has been invited to be a project sound producer and songwriter.

 

”Polosa Vezeniya” (The Line of Luck) project is the first regional joint venture built-up on the will of three cities – Orel, Kursk and Belgorod – where three TV companies, namely “Istoki”, “TVK&K” and ”World of Belogorye” took the common interest. This project is dedicated to lead the way of accommodating the potentials of talented young people and to consequently form a popular pop band. In the end there is a goal to integrate the whole songs program on its own, that is supposed to be tested during the New Year mini tour thru the several cities, such as Kursk, Orel, Belgorod, Starii Oskol, Gubkin, Kurchatov, Zheleznogorsk, Mzensk and Lyvni.

 

From august 20th to September 3rd in Kursk, Orel and Belgorod the semi-finals have been taking places. In every city where the casting routine was set, only the most talented and brilliant artists have been chosen to go on further on the contest. The second leg was happening on September 21st on the stage of “Olymp” center. The third leg took place on October 19th in “Youth Initiatives Center” in Belgorod, that presented the group of artists that were sent to the training base and are about to concrete their original musical program. TV version of this program is slated to be broadcast starting from the begin of December by several TV channels and cable networks.

 

Currently DJ RAM in cooperation with a producer Igor Veber and the project’s composers are working on the material recordings for the show and the album coming in the middle of December this year.
