DJ RAM and pre-Scooter

Celebrate The Nun

DJ RAM has received the invitation from the American label that is releasing stuff of Russian DJ on the territory of the USA to remix a legendary Celebrate The Nun. The song titled "Spread Your Wings" is slated to be out very soon, namely on July 28 this year.
Probably it is hard to find a human being that is not aware of the dance project Scooter. But only a few knows that their fame roots in the long forgotten 1986 when H.P. Baxxter aka Sheffield Dave aka Screaming Lord aka Ice (the  current frontman of Scooter) , his sister Britt MaximeRick Jordan and Slin Tompson started a band called Celebrate The Nun. Apparently they did their best to really celebrate that nun, because the band reached the higher positions in different charts. For example, in the US Dance charts CTN climbed #5, that is not bad place to be. From the very start the band’s sound could be compared to the contemporary hardcore style and the era of techno music just dawned by then. The single "Will you be there" reached #4 in the American Billboard-Club-Charts. About 30.000 copies were sold throughout the USA!
In 1990 Slin Thompson parts ways with the band. H.P., Rick and Maxime records one more album and in 1991 CTN splits. And now the band rises again from the ashes with a remix album and the totally new one is just around the corner. DJ RAM also was invited to support the release with his remixes.
