May, 12, 2001 at musical contest the Eurovision-2001 in Denmark Russia was represented by band Mumiy Troll  with a song " Lady Alpine Blue " (represented Russian-speaking variant "Promise"). Russia has received 37 points and has occupied the position number 12. For this song have voted: Iceland (5 points), Israel (3 очка), Lithuania (10 points), Latvia (8), Estonia (4), Malta (2), Greece (5 points).
